When I first enrolled in the +2 Bio-Science stream at Step By Step, I was nervous about the heavy academic load. However, the moments spent inside our Botany and Zoology laboratories transformed my perspective on scientific learning. Instead of merely studying anatomical diagrams from a textbook, our instructors guide us to prepare live biological slides. Adjusting the focus knobs of our high-quality microscopes to reveal cell structures, stomata patterns, and plant tissue cells makes botany come alive. Extensive mock test models prepare us for entrance examinations in the medical and biotechnology fields. Practical assignments teach us precision, observation, and record-keeping. The Botany Lab at SBS has not only improved my board examination scores but has solidified my dream of pursuing biotechnology research in the future.
